Why is this so strange that tethering comes with the Windows Mobile phones and not the iPhones? The Windows Mobile plans with tethering cost $60/month, and the iPhone without tethering plans cost $30/ month. Why are people surprised that you get more when you pay more? It’s not rocket science.

They bundle full tethering in every Windows Mobile phone. In fact it ’s not just a modem but an NAT/access point. So why are iPhones deni ed the same capability? Of course you can also unlock all their othe r phones after 90 days. Why is the iPhone so very limited?

Now that Ed Whitacre is at GM are they going to introduce a mileage cap? While we’re at it it’s interesting to speculate on the business model for GM’s OnStar. Why don’t they offer on it anyone’s car – silos prevent value from escaping to the larger market.
