Reply-To: Ole Jacobsen <ole () cisco com> For IP: The Android is unlikely to have any impact on the handset market until you can actually BUY it and USE it on the carrier of your choice as a replacement for whatever you have now. Why has Google fallen into the same trap as Apple did and gotten into bed with T-Mobile (and chosen a technology that means even an unlocked phone won't work on AT&T and other networks in 3G mode)??? I've said it before and I'll say it again: I am happy to pay a premium for a "cool" handset provided it does not come with carrier strings attached. Ole Ole J.
