Oh - I guess all it takes to makes something a "fact" is the loud
assertion by a partisan of "facthood". So if I were to say that it
is a "fact that God created the earth in 7 days", I could get away
with that?

Bad example there.

It's amazing how many evolutionists overlook the subtlety that *in the
creationist's world-view, that **is** a given fact*.

And delving further - it's a good idea to remember that *every single* "fact"
that you know that wasn't derived from your own personal experience was,
itself, delivered to you via a loud assertion by a partisan of "facthood".

Think quickly - how do you *know* that George Washington was actually
President of the US? You "know" it because you've been given enough
assertions by partisans of "facthood" (and you can't weasel out of it by
going and reading newspapers and other accounts of the day - *those* are
all written by partisans of "facthood" as well).
