Alright, an honest question about this. Back a whiles, there were a lot of gameboy-based experiments in HCI since it was a cheap substitute for a PDA, however the PS3 is pretty expensive. At $400 per, and with the ram limitations, isn't it cheaper at this time to build a cluster out of generic boxes from newegg; I can get a cheap 2GHZ box with 1 GB from there for less than $200. Has anyone done the dollar figures to find out of this is actually cost effective?
