Albrecht's agenda is not at all hidden. In fact, she and her partner wrote two versions of Spychips, one for general consumption and the other for Christian/evangelical groups. The content of the two is almost all the same with the exception of a few short passages and one chapter that explains the Christian background to her views, which began with her grandmother making her promise as a child never to take "a mark" (of the Beast).
