A couple of issues. Just the heavy web users? Does that mean my FTP is fine? My Usenet is fine? My Bitorrent is fine? My SMTP/POP3 is fine? My VOIP is fine? Comcast is clearly acting as stupid as they can in this matter, because, you know, everything flows through the web! The Tubes will be full if we don't cut down those damn heavy web users! How stupid does Comcast think their customers are? My other issue is, can Comcast truly sense who's VOIP adapter is on the other side of the cable modem? I'm guessing that it's possible, but then the question is, how hard is it to make your own hardware/software be sensed in the same matter? Once this goes into effect, I wouldn't want to be a Comcast CSR! ------------------------------------------- Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/247/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/247/ Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
