WMA has been cracked for quite some time - see. e.g., http:// 
www.tunebite.com for one such tool.

I wonder what this fact will do to the "monthly subscription" music  
download services such as aol announced last week - their business  
model is based on receiving a monthly fee in exchange for the DRM key  
which unlocks the music subscribers download.  Charter, (Paul Allen's  
cable company) has offered Charter Music for a while - same business  
model.
