Dave:A correction to my earlier message, pointed out by an alert reader of your list.
I wrote:"Under this regime, the band is reserved for point-to-point outdoor wireless broadband applications, and users are required to cooperate so as not to interfere with one
another's signals or waste the spectrum." I should have written:"Under this regime, the band is reserved for POINT-TO-MULTIPOINT outdoor wireless broadband applications..."
As should be clear from context, the TV bands are poor choices for point-to-point communications because it is difficult to produce highly focused antennas for those frequencies.
