It wasn't a good deed.

While I am certain more spam was blocked than "ham" (good e-mail), that is true no matter what you block - blocking all US mail servers would have the same effect, for instance. If your only criteria is to stop spam, just shut your mail servers.

The point was they blocked EVERYTHING that was not in the US. Perhaps that would work for someone who honestly believes the US is the whole world (GWB maybe? :), but the rest of us have friends and business associates who live outside the US.
