Ultimately, I suspect this will be the death knell of the US being the incubator for new technologies. And I wonder if it won't be the death knell of American prosperity, too.
I've been wondering when the alarm bells will be raised about nano and bio
tech labs being opened overseas rather than in the US. I don't have anysources for this or know for sure it's happening, but logically, why open labs in the US when it's cheaper and regulation less onerous overseas? Same
with R&D.At the point even the *new* high=tech jobs are moving off shore, everyone
should start seeing the writing on the wall. I think the solution is to invest in University science and technologyresearch, as well as assisting small business ventures which are more likely
