Not completely accurate -- in 1978, Ben Rosen left Morgan Stanley and
founded Rosen Research, which published the "Rosen Electronics Letter" and
continued the Personal Computer Forum and the Semiconductor Forum which he
had begun at Morgan Stanley (Barbara McMullen and I left Morgan Stanley
about the same time to form our firm and attended all the Rosen Forums).
As Ben moved deeper into venture capital through his Sevin-Rosen
partnership, funding such firms as Lotus and Compaq, he gave up the
editorship of the newsletter and Esther, at that time, a well regarded
industry analyst at Oppenheimer, joined Rosen Research and assumed the
editorship. After a period (I believe it was over a year), Esther
purchased Rosen Research, changed it's name to EDventure and changed the
name of the newletter from "Rosen Electronics Letter" to RELease 1.0.

Sorry to nipick but it such be accurate.

Success to the new venture!
