True, gaming regulators have well established policies and procedures 
for
vetting gaming devices that may be well worth evaluating as folks 
consider
validating voting machines.  No panacea however, as the gaming industry
still sees multi-million dollar fraud events including undetected 
hardware
defects and malicious code planted by "insiders".
