However, I submit that lists of members belong to the organizations involved and are administered by the policies of those organizations. They do not belong to the pastors, officers, or others who are related to the organizations. People who join an organization assume they have an understanding of how their names will be used by that group, perhaps based on historic use of member names. That "contract" should not be broken by an individual. Should it even be broken by a board without notice to the members involved?
