Dave,

This anxiety about cell phones sounds like Australia about 5 years
ago. Since then, technology improvements have removed the requirement
to speak loudly, and universality has removed status preening (well...
except for video calls).

Give the US a few years and cell phones will be like electric lights -
not an issue of concern.
