The original post indicated that the author was a theoretical physicist, working at the Weizman institute, and his first name is Haim. He is writing
about "the part of the world from which I come". The second paragraph begins: "I could have shared with you some fascinating facts and somepersonal thoughts about the Israeli-Arab conflict." Was there any question he was an Israeli? I'd be much more interested in Blankenhorn documenting that Harari's statements endorse Likud's "world view". That's a rather pat dismissal, despite taking pains to appear fair-minded, e.g. "Nowhere am I attacking his ideas on the merits". Perhaps an attack on the ideas would be
more useful than a lame attempt to make Harari appear deceptive.
