If Syria invaded Israel claiming they had evidence of weapons of mass
destruction that posed an immediate threat to Syrian security. What would
the US reaction be?

1. The White House would cite it as proof of the need to make tax cuts permanent;
2. Ann Coulter would blame Clinton for it;
3. KBR would receive some sort of contract to deal with it;
4. The Marines would note that had their forward units been equipped with V-22
   Ospreys, they would have been more able to react;
5. ABC, NBC and CBS would launch reality TV shows placing average guys/gals in
   combat situations, and/or relationships with Israelis and/or Syrians;
6. Fox would run "blooper" shows of Syrian weapons mishaps;
7. Yusuf Islam (nee Cat Stevens) would change his name to reflect sympathy for the Israelis
   (to Steven Katz);
8. The National Inquirer would run the headline, "JACKO VOWS HUNT FOR LACI'S KILLER;"
9. The U.S. House of Representatives would rename pita bread "Dough Yarmulkes;"
and
10. The average American school kid would be hard-pressed to find either of the
    combatants on a map.
