Subject: DRM conference web resources

One of the principal goals of the Law and Technology of Digital Rights
Management Conference sponsored by the Berkeley Center for Law &
Technology, the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, and the School of
Information Management & Systems was to raise the level of understanding
about DRM as a technology and the legal and policy issues posed by DRM
technologies.  The conference was sold out almost a month before the event,
and so the organizers of the conference decided that the goals of the
conference in raising consciousness about the important issues arising from
DRM would best be achieved by making as much of the materials developed for
the conference available on the web.  Audio of all sessions is now
available on the DRM conference website, as is video for all but one
session.  Transcription of some sessions is available, as are slides of
many presentations (including all of the tutorial speakers).  The
organizers of the conference also made an effort to provide references to
articles, reports, and other documents that might prove useful to those
interested in increasing their understanding of DRM and the legal and
policy issues it raises.  We encourage you to share the links below with
those you think might be interested in having access to this
information.  We encourage you to repost this message to newsgroups that
you think might be interested in these resources, and should the spirit
move you to link to the conference website, we would be pleased to have you
do this.
