Friends of Sklyarov and 2600 take note. The Copyright Office, which administers parts of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, is taking comments on the "anti- circumvention" provision of the Act, the one which tripped up Sklyarov and 2600, and which has given a lot of other people a lot of trouble. The Copyright Office would like comments submitted electronically, as it explains, in intricate (http://www.copyright.gov/1201/fr2002-4.pdf) detail. EFF will be coordinating the effort to respond.
