AOL Is Still Selling Ads (To Itself)

NEW YORK - AOL Time Warner management must be the slyest bunch of foxes in 
business today. While publishers left and right are whining about ad sales 
drying up, AOL is using the advertising slowdown to grow its business.

Investors, baffled and confused by forecasts for the ad market, haven't 
been quite sure what to expect from AOL Time Warner's (nyse: AOL - news - 
people) media businesses.
