The Washington Times is reporting that the Bush administration has nixed plans for a national ID card. Says the paper in an article on Thursday: "Deputy Press Secretary Scott McClellan said President Bush is not even considering the idea though many in and out of government are, and the debate over the old issue has flared anew. So much for Larry Ellison's get-richer-quick plan.
