NEC display saves squints
The Asahi Shimbun

The Asahi Shimbun
Electronics manufacturer NEC Corp. has developed a liquid crystal display 
(LCD) which it claims has resolution twice as high as its current mobile 
phone displays.
The new LCD costs about the same to produce as current LCDs and, using a 
technology known as system on glass, integrates in one unit circuitry that 
has previously been kept separate.
