All,

Here's another blow to the freedom of our compatriots in Iran. The Islamic Iranian government is truly putting 70 Million people in jail and yet Mr. Khatami has the guts to come to the United Nations on Saturday to speak about Dialogue among Civilizations! He himself is not civilized enough to let our 2500 year old civilization speak freely and yet he wants to preach the world!

The Islamic Government of Iran has confiscated all Satellite dishes (its was found out that a lot of confiscated dishes were being resold in the streets!) and is now fully controlling the Internet. What's next?

This is shameful

Iran's Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution has ruled that the state alone can provide internet connections, Iranian TV reported on Wednesday.

"Private companies which are operating as internet service providers [ISPs] should, within six months from the date of the issue of this regulation, either dismantle their establishment or transfer it to the state sector," the TV said.

The Supreme Council of Dissemination of Information will issue the relevant operating permits allowing state organizations to operate as ISPs.

Any organization given an ISP permit may only provide services within its legal field of operations, the TV added.

The Supreme Council also announced that places where Internet services are provided to customers, such as internet cafes, have to apply for operating permits within the next two months.
