Hi Dave

As a foreigner from a country that is supporting America's actions against the Taliban by sending SAS troopers, I totally support the provision that would require visitors to the US to carry ID cards.

I think the law doesn't go far enough.

An ID card, no matter how efficient, can be duplicated and forged. Passports are all the time, and if this is just a passport-style law, it can't possibly work.

The only answer is subcutaneous implants such as Digital Angel proposed by Destron-Fearing for all visitors.

After a successful beta testing period on tourists, the plan could be rolled out to the rest of the American public to counter the likes of homegrown terrorists such as those at Ruby Ridge, Waco, Alfred P Murrah Bdg and so on.
