WAP was portrayed as the be-all and end-all of a new age of Wireless Services and they who would benefit from such truth management went out of their way to put WAP on everyone's lips. so now this Brave New World is a bit less than it was made out to be, and WAP is getting the blame and deservedly so. Technically, the appologists are correct - it's just a protocol. however, in the MARKET, it was annointed as the icon of this brave new world, so it's gonna take the heat when people are unhappy. Claim the credit, get the blame. we know it didn't deserve the credit, but it doesn't matter. it was a pawn in a massive effort to toy with the affections of the marketplace, and it's gonna take the fall, along with the doofi (plural of doofus) who promoted it as such. i say "fine with me" -mo (yes dave, you can send it)
