I've been working with an ad hoc research team NAIS (the "NGO and
Academic ICANN Study") looking at ICANN's At Large election and the role
of a membership/members in ICANN's processes. We have issued an interim
report and would love to hear comments. The report's available in
various formats at <http://www.naisproject.org/report/interim/>

We have tried to base much of our thinking on comments gathered through
interviews and consultations so the interim report is an important part
of that process -- comments would be very helpful.

I was part of the sub-group that worked on the Asia and Pacific section
(at this URL <http://www.naisproject.org/report/interim/2.2.2.shtml>),
so feedback from people on this mailing list would be particularly
helpful. Especially issues around participation in ICANN from the
region, how to counter possible repeat of nationalistic voting, whether
the region is anyway appropriate (are there better structures for
representation?)

Comments very much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Adam
