According to an article at

http://www.linuxfreak.org/post.php/08/17/2001/134.html

a tech support employee at an ISP has been charged with a felony after
informing a local newspaper that its Web site was insecure and open to
tampering and defacement. From the account at the URL above, it appears
that the employee, one Brian K. West, did not break the law by obtaining
unauthorized access to the server; he merely pointed out that all accesses
were authorized! Given the woefully limited amount of manpower it has to
devote to computer crimes, shouldn't the FBI be concentrating on cases
where wrongdoing actually occurred?
