Thanks to Bob McClure, who scanned and reformatted the originals, and with the permission of NATO, downloadable versions of the long out of print 1968 and 1969 NATO Software Engineering Reports are now available, via: http://www.cs.ncl.ac.uk/people/brian.randell/home.formal/NATO/ These reports are accompanied by a 1996 paper about the writing of these reports, and by collections of photographs taken at the conferences. (Some of the people portrayed cannot at this time be identified - help in naming them would be most welcome.) Cheers Brian Randell
