But the strangest broadband ploy was announced Monday by German energy
conglomerate Veba (VEB

try sending data packets through the power grid and out electrical outlets.
Veba claims it can use the power grid and still protect data security and
that, with specialized modems, it can well exceed the roughly 60 kbps speed
limit it has faced thus far
