IP: FTC Issues Report on Online Profiling (fwd)

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued its long awaited report on
online profiling  <http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2000/07/onlineprofiling.htm>.  The
report reviews the Network Advertiser Initiative's (NAI) self-regulatory
guidelines.  These guidelines will oversee the future practices of large
profilers such as DoubleClick, Engage and 24/7 Media.
