Russian military calls off Y2K cooperation

The fight against the Y2K bug is an unexpected casualty of NATO's air
strikes against Yugoslavia. The Interfax News Agency reports that the
Russian Defense Ministry has called off cooperation with the US over the
Y2K glitch as a protest against the air strikes. Until today, Russia's
government was working with US experts to help fix the Y2K problem,
which some fear could cause Russian military systems to malfunction. -
