IP: Apple scraps the Newton from CNET NEWS.COM

Steve Jobs has said that Apple will halt all development of both the Newton
OS and its related products, leaving the market in the hands of the
PalmPilot. But...could that be Microsoft's Palm PC rumbling in the distance?
