IP: Can this be true

I have it from very reliable sources that when this person
attempted to go to the UK via the Erostar train, UK customs 
wanted to scan his laptop hard disk for porno files.
He was unable to conform to their requirements since he had 
an apple laptop and they just are fully equipped to handle 
PCs. 


Just think , given this is true, while they are looking for 
porno files what do you think they do with files that contain
industrial secrets etc.


I am afraid if this is true that another nation has flipped
its wig -- like the USA.
