There are a bunch of mirrored and speedy web sites for the Mars Pathfinder
Mission:


Check out http://mars.sgi.com/default.html (for US west coast), or for a
location nearest you, http://mars.sgi.com/.  I have found these much faster
than the main JPL site which has been published in all the newspapers, tv news
casts, etc.
