                                Summary:
Tapping the enormous potential of the Internet as a commercial medium
and market is proving to be challenging. It is important to note that
many-to-many computer-mediated environments, such as the Web, represent
a fundamentally different environment for marketing activities compared
to traditional media. Further, there are two broad categories of
behavior that consumers engage in during time spent on the Web:
   goal-directed and experiential behavior.
In this talk, I will discuss the strategic implications of these
differences in media models and behavior types for commerce in
   Cyberspace.
