It's not that they wanted anyone to say anything anytime they pleased, it's just that being practical S.O.B.'s they knew you couldn't draw boundaries without going nuts, and they weren't about to waste their time forever arguing about nonsense. There were more interesting games to play, such as taxes and corruption. As Karl Marx said in one of his more useful observations, history does repeat itself: first as tragedy and then as farce. Why are the Germans making a laughinstock out of their government, too? Isn't Exon enough? Richard
