Fantasy League Online,19 September 1995 Starting on 19 September 1995, Electronic Telegraph, in conjunction with Littlewoods Pools, will be introducing Fantasy League Online. Based upon the hugely successful Daily Telegraph Fantasy Football game, this will be your chance to play on the Internet. You will have 55 million pounds to spend on a squad of 17 players. You must be a registered user of Electronic Telegraph to play Fantasy League Online, and you will need to know your user name and password to register your squad. The squad will be chosen from those players in the Carling Premier League which are used in The Daily Telegraph Fantasy League. The squad is limited as follows: Maximum of 2 players from each Premier League club. The cost of the squad must not exceed 55 million pounds and must include the following: -2 x Goalkeepers 3 x Full Backs 3 x Centre Backs 6 x Midfielders 3 x Strikers. The team will consist of 11 players from your squad, and will comprise the following: 1 x Goalkeeper 2 x Full Backs 2 x Centre backs 4 x Midfielders 2 x Strikers. In order to play, you must be a registered user of Electronic Telegraph at http://www.telegraph.co.uk, and must be using Netscape v1.1. First prize is 6000 pounds for the overall Fantasy League Manager, 4000 pounds for second place and 1000 pounds for third place. There are cash prizes for the managers of the month. In view of this, there is a 10 pound charge to play the game.
