Japanese living abroad can vote on a simulated election toward the July 23 Upper House Election through the Internet. Until now, Japanese living outside Japan could not participate in any elections in their home country. The Home Page Address is: http://www.inter.co.jp/TV-TOKYO/ TV Tokyo gives Japanese living outside Japan the opportunity to express their opinions to Japan Upper House Election '95. They can cast their vote for their favorite party and write their opinion to Japanese politics on TV Tokyo's home page. Voting starts on July 10 and closes on July 21, 1 p.m., JST. The results of the votes and opinions will be introduced in TV Tokyo's special TV program on the election, which will be airing on July 23, 9 p.m., JST.
