Dear Dave

It is a great pleasure and an honor to inform you, on the behalf of the ACM
Special Interest Group on Data Communications, that you are the recipient of
the 1995 SIGCOMM Award.

The SIGCOMM award recongnizes achievement in and contributions to the field
of computer communications. It is awarded annually to a person whose work,
over the course of his or her career, represents a significant contribution
to the field and a substantial influence on the work and perceptions of
others in the field. The past recipients of the Award are Paul Baran,
Leonard Kleinrock, David Clark, Hubert Zimmerman, Sandy Fraser, Bob Kahn and
Paul Green. You honor both SIGCOMM and the Award by joining their ranks.

A Lyman Chapin
