San Diego, Calif. -- Maxwell Laboratories Inc. announced Monday that in
collaboration with the Internal Revenue Service, it is pleased to provide
federal and state tax forms, instructions and publications in electronic
format on the Internet.

These free forms may be downloaded to your personal computer or workstation
using your Internet connection and then printed for use in filing your 1993
tax return.

Tax forms may also be requested via Internet electronic-mail by mailing to
"tax-forms('at')scubed.com" a message containing the words "begin send help
end." The forms are returned by e-mail. Most commercial e-mail providers
(CompuServe, Prodigy, America Online, Delphi, etc.) provide e-mail gateways
to the Internet, allowing these users to also obtain the tax forms.

William Proffer, a senior staff scientist at Maxwell and creator of the
Taxing Times Internet information server, noted, "The immediate availability
of all of the IRS and state tax products on the Internet avoids the last-
minute rush to obtain forms and help for all those individuals and companies
with access to the Internet."

The IRS has provided all current IRS products (more than 700 in all) in
Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format). Additionally, Maxwell and the IRS are
currently evaluating providing tax assistance via e-mail.

The Taxing Times forms server, which also accepts Internet connections via
World Wide Web clients, has available a number of forms in PostScript and
TIFF image formats. In the initial two weeks of operation, the Maxwell server
received more than 30,000 inquiries.

The Maxwell Labs Internet server may be accessed using a World Wide Web
client at URL: http://www.scubed.com:8001/.
