TOKYO, July 10 (Reuter) - A Japanese company has developed a
drug that stops faeces smelling, the Mainichi Daily News
reported on Sunday.
         ..

A patient who took one pill after every meal would have
odourless stools, it said.
         ...
Called ``Etiquette View'' the drug is made out of natural
ingredients
..

It quoted Susumu Oda, a professor of psychiatry at Tsukuba
University, as being concerned about the possible social effects
of such a drug.
He said many Japanese were already obsessed with eliminating
dirt and foul odours and some mothers even feared having to
change their babies' nappies.
``I wouldn't want to see young people have easy access to
them (the pills),'' he said.
