Thanks.  I'm not a world class scholar of words, but usually my
vocabulary is respectable.  This was completely new to me.  Yours is
about the fifth or sixth response I got, including one from a Nobel
Laureate.  Farber's list has some very literate people on it.


(I intend to reserve "omphaloskepsis.org" in the domain name system;
it surely is the right name for a host for many of the activities we
see on the net!)
