"ASCIInet Corporation is a subsidiary of ASCII Corporation, and provides an
Online Information Service called ASCII NET.


ASCII NET is scheduled to start an interconnection service between ASCII
NET and Internet on March 3rd, 1994.  First, from Internet to ASCII NET via
telnet, and then, from ASCII NET to Internet via telnet will be completed within
this  year, and e-mail and NetNews services will follow.  Ultimatly, we will
provide application services of Gopher and so on.  While the other online
service  companies in Japan emphasize on only e-mail related service via
Internet, ASCII  NET aims to propagate messages to the World through
Internet."
