High-Tech Human Resources Fair

     People and Computers, The Jewish Agency, and the Government Employment
Agency join forces to link those seeking employment with those seeking
employees in Israeli high-tech.
     On October 4-5, 1993 People and Computers, the Jewish Agency and the
Government Employment Agency will hold a two day high-tech human resources
fair at the Kfar Hamaccabia Conference Center in Ramat Gan, Israel. Numerous
Israeli hardware, software, communications and electronics companies have
expressed great interest in the event and will set-up employment booths at
the fair. Arrangements have been made affording companies seeking personnel
the facilities to interview candidates for specific positions or to enter
them into their own data-base for potential future employment.
     An agreement has been made with the Jewish Agency through which more
than 1,000 new immigrant high-tech professionals will participate in the
event. Agency representatives stressed that [[[[ great interest has been 
expressed in employment opportunities in Israel from Western Europe
countries in the last number of months due to their particular poor
economic state.]]]]
