I have heard from a press person that  David Gelertner of the computer
science department at Yale was seriously injured by a letter bomb this
morning. I gather that he "lost his hands" and  that Yale CS is closed
down, pending investigation.

I also gather that a Dr Epstein, a person in Gene research at Stanford
received a similiar letter bomb yesterday or so
