The "quiet revolution" of cable getting into the information/telco
business is a misnomer.  This isn't "news" and has certainly been
well chronicled by several trade publications, my own included.

the fact that cable and telco are merging and that these industries,
several years from now, will be almost indistinguishable is pretty
much a lock amoung industry pundits.
