The Atlantic on MUDs

There's a good article in the September 1993 issue of _The Atlantic_
by Jacques Leslie called "MUDroom".  It talks about some of the social
effects of MUDs and some possible practical uses of them.  It's
surprising to get this kind of article from a magazine like _The
Atlantic_.
