Hi Seth,

I would have to say (all without looking through our traffic logs for the
past few years) is a trend to see a burst of activity right after school
lets out followed by a lull (but never a full drop).  Right before school
starts up and into the start of the year I expect to see another surge.

This seems to hold with probes, scans, and malware.

All in all this is not a statistically supported response (but it could be
if I had time).
