[**] ICMP Unknown Type [**]
02/07-23:36:24.136027 199.254.239.189 -> a.b.c.d
ICMP TTL:246 TOS:0x0 ID:22373 IpLen:20 DgmLen:1500 DF
Type:8 Code:0 ID:39612 Seq:57072 ECHO

Huh? I wonder what's unknown about type 8 / code 0... I would
have considered that an echo request?!
The datagram itself is unusually long...
Hm, MTU path discovery again?

When the MTU's too much for the router, it'll return an ICMP
source quench...
If you got only these two packets, I wouldn't worry much... but
maybe I'm just looking forward to the weekend ;o))

Bye, Jan
