CanSecWest Security Masters Dojo and honeynet talks

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that CanSec ist taking place soon and
some honeynet-related stuff will be presented there.

There will be a Security Masters Dojo "Advanced Honeypot Tactics". The
course will deal with low-interaction honeypots. After an introduction
to honeyd and its various use cases, the second main part will focus
on bots, botnets, nepenthes, malware collection & analysis, and

At the main conference, two talks will be related to honeynets: Ed
Balas' talk "Next Generation Sebek" will present new developments in
the area of Data Capture with Sebek, while the talk from Fred Arbogast
and Sascha Rommelfangen entitled "Zen and the art of collecting and
analyzing Malware" will deal with nepenthes and the analysis of the
captured data.
