Honeyd problem

When iinstalling honeyd-1.0a-rc2.tar, it indicate this error "checking
for working addr_cmp in libdnet... configure: error: you need to install
1 a more recent version of libdnet" whereas libdnet-1.10 already
installed.
So any idea to overcome this matter.plzz respond.
